Happy New Year 2003!

This is just a reminder about the New Year's Lock-in! It's December 31 - Jan 1...if you couldn't figure it out...haha and it is from 12:00 pm - 10:00 am. There will be bowling, movies, and a talent show...it will be a lot of fun and you should definitly be there! It only cost $15 and don't forget your sleeping bag, pillows, blankets for tents, snacks, games, Bible, pen and notepad. Have a very happy new year and God bless!

The Christmas Schedule

The shedule for the next few weeks is going to be kind of interesting. As you plan for the holidays be sure to include these things in your planning.

Sunday December 22, 2002 - Youth Christmas Party at 7:00 in the Tiefnenbrunn's home. Be sure to invite a friend along. If you need a ride meet at the Church at 6:45.

Wednesday December 25, 2002 - MERRY CHRISTMAS "No Youth"

Sunday December 29, 2002 - No evening service, but come to Sunday School for Bible Study and fellowship.

Tuesday and Wednesday Dec 31-Jan1 - New Year's Lock-in - BRING TON'S OF FRIENDS TO HAVE AN AWESOME TIME!

After that week the schedule will return back to normal. I am exciting to see what God has in store for us this next year!

Youth Shopping Trip!

For those of you wondering, we are leaving for the youth shopping trip at 12:00 today in order to accomodate those who are taking ACT's this morning. Meet at the Church at 12:00 if you want to go today, and bring money to shop and eat on.

Prayer

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

Prayer is a powerful thing. Sunday morning Scott announced the church will be open Monday - Thursday at 7:00 in the morning for prayer. Even if you are unable to make it to church, take some time to talk to God at that time and pray for the church, youth group, school, and our world.

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

As you can see it is, or was, snowing outside, and because the school is closed for today that means that the church is closed too. If you are not aware of it, we follow the school schedule during the winter. So all activities are cancelled for tonight, December 4, 2002. Have fun in the snow and enjoy your day off of school! Let me know all the fun and exciting things you have done today in the comments below!

P.S. Don't forget. Next Saturday, the 14th of December, we will be having the youth shopping trip. Plan on leaving about 12:00 pm to accomodate those who have to take the ACT test that day.

The 22nd of December is our youth Christmas Party which will be held at the Tiefenbrunn's home. Be planning your white elephant gift.

NEW YEARS LOCK-IN: The new years lockin will begin around 12 on new years eve, December 31. We will go bowling, watch movies, eat, play games, and do a variety of other things so please plan on attending and bringing a friend or two.

Things to Bring: Pillow, Blankets, Sleeping Bag, Snacks, Games, Bible, Notepad, and pen or pencil.

Keep in mind that the cost will be $20 per person to cover the cost of food, bowling and other activities. Plan on heading home around 10:00 the next day!
